Yimi Garcia's 2026 Toronto Blue Jays debut could be in more jeopardy.
According to Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith, the right-handed reliever is scheduled to meet with Blue Jays doctors after feeling soreness in his biceps area while rehabbing.
Garcia has been sidelined all season as he recovers from right elbow surgery.
Last season, the 35-year-old recorded a 3.86 ERA with 25 strikeouts and 12 walks in 21 innings pitched over 22 appearances.
The Blue Jays are set to start a three-game series with the Astros in Houston on Monday at 7:07 p.m. ET / 4:07 p.m. PT.
