Blue Jays left-fielder Lourdes Gurriel has resumed training, but remains out as Toronto plays the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night.

While Gurriel is throwing and hitting, he has not resumed running since developing a hamstring issue last week and being placed on the 10-day Injured List.

The Blue Jays are hoping to have a better sense of Gurriel's timeline by Sunday.

Alejandro Kirk missed Thursday night's game with a left hip issue and will also not start, though he was available off the bench last game.
