Rudy Martin Jr. is sticking with the Toronto Blue Jays for now.
The 30-year-old outfielder cleared waivers and was assigned to triple-A Buffalo, the team announced on Friday.
Martin Jr., made his long-awaited MLB debut with the Blue Jays in September, going 0-for-2 with a walk in a win over the Baltimore Orioles.
He joined the Blue Jays in July when he was claimed off waivers from the Orioles.
His MLB debut came after 12 years spent in the minor leagues.
Martin was a 25th-round draft pick by the Kansas City Royals in 2014.
