Three injured Toronto Blue Jays continue to work their way back to full health.
Manager John Schneider told reporters Monday in Anaheim that Yimi García is scheduled to throw live batting practice to hitters on Wednesday, that George Springer continues to throw and hit, and that Addison Barger will start running on Tuesday.
García has been throwing bullpens after beginning the year on the injured list. He continues to work back from the season-ending surgery that he had last September.
The 35-year-old spent a bulk of 2025 on the IL, but pitched to a 3.86 ERA over the 21 innings that he was healthy.
Springer and Barger, meanwhile, are looking to return from injuries suffered earlier this month.
Springer broke his big toe with a foul ball on April 11. He was slashing .185/.290/.370 with two homers and four doubles before the injury.
Barger went down with injuries to both ankles on April 5. He had just one hit in 23 plate appearances to begin his season.
