George Springer will return to the Toronto Blue Jays' lineup on Friday against the Minnesota Twins after missing the past two games because of a non-COVID illness.

Springer will bat leadoff and play centre field.

Cavan Biggio plays second base with Santiago Espinal moving to third to fill in for Matt Chapman, who is out the day after a pitch deflected off his upper back into his helmet.

Danny Jansen catches and Teoscar Hernandez is the designated hitter, giving the night off to Alejandro Kirk.
