Toronto Blue Jays right-hander T.J. Zeuch will start Thursday against the New York Yankees, according to manager Charlie Montoyo.

In six starts for triple-A Buffalo this season, Zeuch has a 4.37 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 35 innings while striking out 24 batters and walking eight.

The 25-year-old appeared in four games for the Blue Jays earlier this season before right shoulder tendinitis led to a stint on the injured list. Zeuch was activated from the IL on April 30 and optioned to triple-A.

The Blue Jays continue their mid-week series against the Yankees Wednesday on Sportsnet ONE with Ross Stripling and Gerrit Cole taking the mound. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET/4:07 p.m. PT.
