Teoscar Hernandez's night ended very early on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder exited in the second inning against the Colorado Rockies with a left hamstring strain, the team announced.
Hernandez was running out a groundball to first base when he grabbed his hamstring. He appeared frustrated before heading down the Dodgers' tunnel with a trainer.
Hyeseong Kim replaced Hernandez in left field to begin the third inning.
Hernandez had a .278/.350/.439 slash line entering Wednesday with a .789 OPS. He's also hit seven homers with 31 RBIs.
The 33-year-old is in his third season in L.A. after spending time with the Houston Astros, Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners.
