As the Los Angeles Dodgers season ended, so did the career of Miguel Rojas.
The veteran infielder announced his retirement following the Dodgers' season-ending Game 4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series on Thursday.
Rojas told reporters that he informed his teammates following the loss: “This is it. I’m moving on with the next chapter in my life. …The last four years here changed my life.”
The 37-year-old spent 13 years in the MLB, beginning and ending his career as a Dodger, with a stint with the Miami Marlins breaking up the two.
Rojas was a part of the Dodgers' two World Series wins in 2024 and 2025, playing the hero last season as he hit a ninth-inning game-tying homer in Game 7 against the Toronto Blue Jays.
In his Major League tenure, he appeared in 1,401 games with a slash line of .260/.313/.363 and a .677 OPS.
