Details: O’Hearn, 32, heads to a Pittsburgh team that has had a busy offseason. Last season, he set a career high with 17 home runs split between the Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres. The Pirates now have a full 40-man roster and will need to make a corresponding move for the deal to become official.

Details: In 66 innings pitched for the Rangers last season, Webb went 5-4 with a 3.00 ERA, allowing a career-high 10 home runs. The 32-year-old has a career 2.99 ERA and 1.202 WHIP. He spent his first few seasons in Atlanta, winning the World Series in 2021.
Sean Newcomb, LHP

Contract: One year, $4.5 million
Details: Newcomb, 32, heads to Chicago after a strong 2025 split between the Athletics and Red Sox in which he posted a 2.73 ERA over 92.1 innings. The reliever marks the second big-league addition for the White Sox in three days after the club also signed slugger Munetaka Murakami.

Contract: One year
Details: The Phillies add some bullpen depth with Brampton, Ont.'s Zach Pop. Pop struggled last season over five games with the Seattle Mariners and New York Mets, finishing with a 14.85 ERA over just 6.2 innings in the majors. He pitched with the Toronto Blue Jays from 2022-2024.

Details: After trading away their best lefty reliever Matt Strahm, the Phillies bring in another talented left-handed bullpen arm. Backhus, 27, made 32 relief appearances for Arizona last season, going 0-3 with a 4.62 ERA. But he was particularly good against left-handed hitters, holding them to a .139 average.

In return, Philadelphia acquired 29-year-old righty reliever Jonathan Bowlan, who made 34 appearances and registered a 3.86 ERA.

However, Peters had a strong season at triple-A Durham, hitting for a .266 average and .784 OPS with 15 home runs and 76 RBIs.

Details: After finishing the year with a middling bullpen, the Reds are bringing in a solid depth option to shore up their issues. Ferguson registered a 3.58 ERA and a 1.163 WHIP in 70 appearances last season, split between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners.
Adrian Houser, RHP
Team: San Francisco Giants
Contract: Two years, $22 million
Details: The Giants are beefing up their pitching staff with the addition of Houser, who logged a 3.31 ERA in 21 starts last season split between the Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Rays. His first half in Chicago was the best stretch of his career, as he posted a 2.10 ERA in 11 starts before being traded at the deadline.
