MLB Playoffs Blog: Rays return to World Series; Dodgers, Braves need Game 7

Corey Seager homered again, Walker Buehler pitched six scoreless innings and the Los Angeles Dodgers pushed the NL Championship Series to Game 7 with a 3-1 win over Atlanta on Saturday.

For the first time since 2008, the Tampa Bay Rays are headed back to the World Series.

The top-seeded Rays skirted the Houston Astros' best efforts to play the role of the triumphant underdog (and emerge from a 3-0 series deficit) by winning 4-2 in the ALCS Game 7 on Saturday.

The Atlanta Braves, meanwhile, could've clinched their own pennant — but the Los Angeles Dodgers outmatched them in a 3-1 victory to force a Game 7 in the NLCS tomorrow night.

If you missed any of Saturday's League Championship Series action, you can catch up with our MLB playoffs blog. And make sure to tune in Sunday for Dodgers vs. Braves (8:15 p.m. ET) NLCS Game 7 on Sportsnet and SN Now.
