There have been no new positive COVID-19 results among MLB players in the past 33 consecutive days, but two staff members tested positive over the past week, the MLBPA and league announced jointly Friday.
The two staff who tested positive were from the same MLB club. No players received positive results over the last week. Over 15,024 samples were taken during the latest testing period through the end of Oct. 1
As part of the league’s testing to date, 57 players and 34 staff members have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
