The Toronto Blue Jays are one of a number of teams in "strongly in the mix" to host an upcoming All-Star Game, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.

Nightengale reports that the Blue Jays, Orioles, Cubs and Rangers are being considered for games in 2023, 2024 or 2025.

MLB announced Tuesday that Coors Field in Colorado would host the 2021 game after it was removed from Atlanta in response to Georgia's new controversial election laws.

Dodger Stadium has already been tapped to host the game in 2022 while Philadelphia will host in 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

If Toronto is chosen to host, it would be the third time the Mid-Summer Classic is played outside the United States. The Blue Jays hosted the game in 1991 while the Montreal Expos hosted the event in 1982.
