Home plate umpire Chris Guccione left Saturday's game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles because he felt his heart racing, causing a delay in the third inning, Sportsnet's Hazel Mae reported.

The other three umpires asked the Orioles to leave the field as they prepared to pitch in the bottom of the third inning at Rogers Centre.

Second base umpire Chris Conroy took over behind home plate after a delay that lasted about 20 minutes.
