Even though Bellator 149 took place Feb. 19, the ballyhooed event hasn’t stopped producing ridiculous storylines.

According to a report from MMAFighting, both Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock failed their drug tests.

It is unknown at this time what the exact substance or substances each fighter tested positive for are because the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversaw Houston event, is withholding the official test results “due to potential pending litigation.”

Slice, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson, defeated Dada 5000 in what has been dubbed by many as the worst fight ever.

To make things worse, the day after the event it was revealed that Dada 5000, whose real name is Dhafir Harris, was in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest following the bout. The fighter had high levels of potassium in his system as a result of cutting an excessive amount of weight leading up to the fight. Harris remained in the hospital for nearly two weeks before being released in early March.

Shamrock lost to fellow MMA pioneer Royce Gracie in the co-main event after being kneed in the groin.

The combined age of the four fighters at the top of the Bellator 149 card was 181. We can’t make this stuff up.
