Joe Lauzon and Clay Guida have competed a combined 48 times for the UFC and the pair of fan favourites are set to meet in November.
The UFC announced the veteran lightweights will meet during a UFC Fight Night event in Norfolk, Va., on Nov. 11.
Both men made their promotional debuts in 2006 and have been there ever since.
Lauzon (27–13 in MMA, 14-10 in the UFC) has alternated wins and losses since 2014 and is coming off a majority decision loss to Stevie Ray in April.
Guida (33–17 in MMA, 13-11 in the UFC) earned a unanimous decision win over Erik Koch in June in his return to the 155-pound division. Prior to that win, Guida went 3-4 during a three-year stint competing in the 145-pound featherweight division.
