A highly anticipated grudge match between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva finally has a date and location, as Dana White announced the bout will serve as the UFC 173 co-main event.

The UFC president made the announcement on FOX Sports Live following UFC 169 Saturday.

Earlier in the night, the UFC confirmed UFC 173 will take place May 24 in Las Vegas. The event will be headlined by Chris Weidman vs Vitor Belfort.

Sonnen and Silva are currently serving as coaches on the upcoming season of TUF Brazil and things have been heated between the two men, who dislike one another.

Last week the two UFC stars got into a fight on set while filming the reality show, according to White.

Sonnen (28-14) is coming off a first-round TKO loss to Rashad Evans at UFC 167 in November, while Silva (35-12-1, 1 NC) finished Brian Stann with strikes last March.
