UFC 169 is just days away and with two titles on the line it’s an event fans will likely be talking about for some time.
Renan Barao will defend his now undisputed bantamweight title against Urijah Faber in the main event.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: Watch UFC 169 preliminary fights on Sportsnet 360 Saturday starting at 8 p.m. EST
The two men met in the main event of UFC 149 in Calgary in 2012 with Barao winning a unanimous decision. Faber, who has gone 4-0 since losing to Barao, takes the fight on short notice after Dominick Cruz was forced to withdraw from the bout with an injury.

In the co-main event, the featherweight title is on the line as Jose Aldo meets Ricardo Lamas. With a victory, Aldo will extend his win streak to a whopping 17 straight, while Lamas looks to improve to 5-0 in the UFC en route to becoming the 145-pound champ.

Also, a heavyweight bout between two of the sport’s best big boys is featured on the main card, as former UFC champ Frank Mir takes on former Strikeforce champ Alistair Overeem.
Mir has lost three straight, while Overeem has been knocked out in two straight, so the loser of this bout could find themselves being cut from the UFC roster.
