Nate ‘The Great’ Marquardt headlines the main event of UFC 122 live from Oberhausen, Germany on Sportsnet ONE on Saturday, November 13 at 3 p.m. (ET) / 12 p.m. (PT).
UFC 122 will also be rebroadcast on the Sportsnet East and Ontario channels at 8 p.m. (ET), Sportsnet West at 8 p.m. (MT) and Sportsnet Pacific at 7 p.m. (PT).
The main card for UFC 122 will feature a middleweight bout to determine the number one contender for that weight class. Nate Marquardt (30-9-2) had a title shot at UFC 73 in July 2007 but lost to reigning middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Marquardt’s opponent, Yushin Okami (25-5) has only lost twice since making his UFC debut in August 2006. The winner of this fight is expected to get a shot at the UFC Middleweight championship.
Next Monday’s edition of MMA Connected hosted by “Showdown” Joe Ferraro will feature all the highlights of UFC 122 including post-fight analysis and reactions from the fighters.
