Sportsnet Xbox One FAQs:

Q: Do I need to be a Sportsnet subscriber to use the app?
A: The app does not require you to be a Sportsnet subscriber to view the video highlights and clips. The viewing of Live TV channels does require you to be a Sportsnet subscriber with a participating TV provider.

Q: From where can I use the application:
A: The Sportsnet app is available for streaming within Canada only. It will not allow streaming if you download the app outside of Canada, or move your console outside Canada.

Q: What TV Providers are supported for Live TV viewing?
Currently the following TV Providers are supported for Live viewing:
– Rogers Cable
– Bell
– Shaw
– Telus
– Cogeco
– SaskTel
– Source

Q: What if my TV provider is not listed?
A: Currently only the TV providers listed above are supported for Live TV streaming. If your provider is not listed please contact them and ask for them to secure Sportsnet Now live streaming rights for their customers.

Q: Are there blackouts when streaming live Sportsnet Now content?
A: Regional blackouts are determined based on your physical location and apply to telecasts that have been sold regionally per league or team agreements. For more information go to //www.sportsnet.ca/schedule. In rare circumstances, Sportsnet does not have the same rights to show content online or mobile as on TV. IF that is the case, we may blackout specific programming.

Sportsnet NHL regional broadcasts are available only to Sportsnet subscribers who live within that team’s local territory. Sportsnet national NHL broadcasts are not subject to blackouts.

Q: How do I sign-out from my TV provider account:
A: To sign-out of your TV provider account please press the Menu button, select Settings, and select TV Provider Sign Out.
