The Toronto Raptors may be missing a hometown favourite for Game 4 of their first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Toronto-born wing A.J. Lawson is questionable for the Raptors' pivotal contest on Sunday with back spasms, the team announced Saturday.
Immanuel Quickley will also remain out and was announced as unavailable for the rest of the series on Friday.
Lawson, 25, averaged nine-and-a-half minutes per game over Toronto's first two playoff contests to go along with two points and two assists.
In Game 3, Lawson played under two minutes of garbage time as the Raptors opted to play Jamison Battle in his rotation spot instead.
Raised in Brampton, Ont., Lawson averaged 4.2 points and shot 42.2 per cent from three over 24 games with the Raptors this season. His two-way contract was converted to a standard NBA deal with one game remaining in the regular season, making him eligible to play in the post-season.
Lawson also represented the Raptors 905, Toronto's G League affiliate, in the "Up Next" game at all-star weekend for the second consecutive season.
