Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.
That's the attitude many Toronto Raptors fans took after Kyle Lowry announced on his social media accounts that he is joining the Miami Heat.
The move, which will reportedly be a sign-and-trade situation and could see Lowry earn close to $90 million on a three-year deal, marks an end to the most successful era in Raptors franchise history. Lowry led Toronto to the playoffs in seven of his nine seasons, highlighted by winning the 2019 NBA championship. The six-time all-star is among the franchise leaders in games played, points, assists, steals and triple-doubles.
Now that he has taken his talents to South Beach, Sportsnet's social media team asked Raptors fans to share their favourite Kyle Lowry moments. Here are some of the highlights.
