The Toronto Raptors are taking a flyer on a former NCAA champion.
The Raptors have signed wing Andre Jackson Jr. to a deal, the team announced Wednesday. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Jackson Jr., 24, has spent the last three seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks after being acquired in a draft-night trade with the Orlando Magic in 2023. He was selected in the second round, 36th overall.
A UConn product, having won the national championship in 2023, Jackson Jr. has been an inconsistent producer over his three-year cup of coffee in the NBA. He averaged 2.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in a career-low 8.5 minutes per game last season.
Over his three-year career, he has averaged 2.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and one assist in 172 games and 52 starts.
