Forward Eric Paschall has landed with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year, two-way contract, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Paschall, drafted 41st overall by Golden State in 2019, has had an up-and-down career. After earning All-Rookie First Team honours in the Warriors' punted 2019-2020 season, Paschall has seen his numbers decline significantly over the past two seasons.
In 60 games as a rookie (26 of which he started), he averaged 14 points on 49.7 per cent shooting to go with 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 27.6 minutes a night.
In his sophomore campaign, he put up 9.5 points a night, also on 49.7 per cent shooting, but played 20 fewer games, only started twice, and lost over a third of his nightly minutes.
Paschall then migrated to the Utah Jazz, where he saw his role diminished even further — he averaged 5.9 points a night in 12.7 minutes.
The six-foot-six, 255-pound Villanova product is hoping to crack the end of Timberwolves' rotation, where he'll be fighting for minutes with other hopefuls such as recent signee Kyle Anderson and the high-flying Jaden McDaniels.
