The Utah Jazz will retain a key part of their frontcourt.
John Collins has exercised his $26.5-million player option with the Jazz, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Wednesday.
The six-foot-nine forward averaged 19.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 39.9 per cent on a career-high 3.7 three-point attempts per game.
Collins has played the past two seasons in Utah after spending the first six years of his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks.
The 27-year-old played only 40 games in 2024-25, starting 31 of them, after dealing with a variety of injuries to his ankle, back, knee and hip. It was the fewest games Collins had appeared in throughout a single season in his career.
