The Detroit Pistons are bringing back their sharpshooter.
Kevin Huerter intends to sign a new three-year, $27-million deal to return to the Pistons, ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Monday.
Huerter was acquired by the Pistons in a mid-season trade from the Chicago Bulls. In 25 games with Detroit, he averaged 8.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 44.3 per cent from the field.
The 27-year-old is one of the top three-point shooters in the NBA, but struggled with that in 2025-26 with a 30.8 per cent clip from deep, the worst of his career.
Despite a down year, Huerter is a career 36.8 per cent shooter from deep.
