If DeMar DeRozan is not traded by Thursday's NBA trade deadline, he is expected to stay put in Sacramento.
The Kings have "zero plans" to buyout DeRozan if he remains with the team past Thursday, sources told ESPN's Anthony Slater.
DeRozan is in the second season of a three-year deal signed with the Kings in 2024. He is owed $25.7 million next season, but only $10 million is guaranteed.
Reports stated that the former Toronto Raptors all-star could be a buyout candidate, but no conversations have been had with DeRozan's side about that, Slater adds.
DeRozan is averaging 19.2 points in 51 games for the 12-39 Kings this season.
