Jonathan Isaac has agreed to a four-year, $80 million extension with the Orlando Magic, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
On Saturday, the Magic were reportedly granted a disabled player exception worth $3,681,283 following the loss of Isaac for the 2020-21 season. The 23-year-old tore his left ACL and meniscus in August during a seeding game against the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Disney bubble.
When healthy, Isaac has been a key part of the Magic’s core. In his NBA career, Isaac has only had one campaign where he surpassed 70 games played.
The Magic also reportedly signed Markelle Fultz to a three-year, $50 million extension on Monday. A former No. 1 overall pick, Fultz has become a key part of Orlando’s future.
