The Atlanta Hawks are acquiring Dejounte Murray from the San Antonio Spurs for Danilo Gallinari and a package of draft picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, infusing their backcourt with another talented young guard to pair with Trae Young.

For the Spurs, the move signals an intention to lean into a rebuild after years of treading water in the post-Kawhi Leonard era.

San Antonio will be receiving the Charlotte Hornets' 2023 first-round pick, as well as the Hawks first rounders in 2025 and 2027. In 2026, the Spurs will have the right to swap picks with Atlanta as well.

More to come.
