Victor Wembanyama's face will be all over shelves in the near future.
The San Antonio Spurs phenom was named the NBA 2K27 cover athlete on Wednesday.
Wembanyama just completed his third NBA season since being drafted No. 1 overall in 2023. He guided the Spurs to the NBA Finals, where they fell to the New York Knicks in five games.
The Frenchman said being on the cover is a "dream come true."
The 22-year-old is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, a two-time all-star, All-NBA First Team member, a two-time All-Defensive First Team member and 2023-24 Rookie of the Year.
Wembanyama averaged 25 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 3.4 blocks and one steal in 64 games last season. He finished third in MVP voting.
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will represent the WNBA on the cover of the deluxe edition of the game, and Derrick Rose will be on the ultra-deluxe edition.
The standard edition launches widely on Sept. 4. Deluxe and ultra editions launch with early access on Aug. 28.
