Rajon Rondo has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $15-million deal to join the Atlanta Hawks, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Rondo was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers last season, playing a meaningful role off the bench for the team in its title run. Rondo averaged 8.9 points, 6.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game in 16 playoff games with Los Angeles.

The veteran point guard recently turned down his $2.62 million player option for next season to become a free agent, clearing the way for him to sign with Atlanta.

Signing Rondo is the latest investment this off-season for the Hawks, who also reportedly signed Kris Dunn to a two-year, $10 million deal and free-agent forward Danilo Gallinari to a three-year, $61.5-million contract.
