DeMarvion Overshown is getting closer to making his season debut.
The Dallas Cowboys have activated the second-year linebacker from the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Overshown suffered a torn ACL, MCL and PCL last December, and is on track to make his season debut in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Texas native was drafted by the Cowboys in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. Last season, he had 90 tackles, five sacks, and a highlight-reel interception return for a touchdown.
Rapoport also reported that the Cowboys have activated rookie Shavon Revel from the non-football injury list. The defensive back tore his ACL in Week 3 of his senior season at East Carolina.
The return of Overshown and Revel should add a much-needed boost to a Dallas defence that is currently ranked 31st in points allowed per game.
