Report: Ravens sign veteran running back Devonta Freeman

The Baltimore Ravens are signing running back Devonta Freeman, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Freeman will be promoted to the active roster.

The Ravens are dealing with a plethora of running back injuries, including Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins suffering season-ending torn ACLs.

Freeman is entering his eighth season, where he's registered 1,005 carries for 4,144 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns with the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants.

In 2020, the 29-year-old recorded 54 carries for 172 rushing yards and one touchdown with the Giants.
