The Colorado Avalanche signed defenceman Wyatt Aamodt to a two-year extension on Friday.
Aamodt, 27, is currently on a one-year, $775,000 deal set to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season, which pays him $130,000 in the minors.
His new deal carries an AAV of $775,000 in the NHL and increases his minors salary to $250,000 in the first year and $275,000 in the second.
Playing for the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League, Aamodt has recorded 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) in 51 games this season.
Having spent his entire professional career to this point with the Eagles, he has totalled 45 points in 166 career games. He also has one point in 18 playoff games with the team.
Aamodt currently leads the AHL in plus/minus at plus-32.
