Blackhawks sign Max Domi to one-year, $3-million deal

Forward Max Domi signed a one-year, $3-million deal on Wednesday with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Domi was acquired by the Carolina Hurricanes in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets leading up to last season's trade deadline.

Domi had a combined 11 goals and 28 assists in 72 games for Columbus and Carolina in 2021-22 before putting up three goals and three assists in 14 Stanley Cup Playoffs games for the Hurricanes.

The five-foot-10 Domi has 314 points (101 goals, 213 assists) in 501 career NHL games with the Arizona Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens, Blue Jackets and Hurricanes.

The Coyotes selected the London Knights product and son of former NHLer Tie 12th overall in the 2013 NHL Draft.
