Forward Brett Murray has been signed by the Buffalo Sabres on a one-year, two-way deal worth $775,000, the NHL franchise said on Friday.
The 24-year-old played for AHL side Rochester Americans during the 2022-23 season, recording 49 points in 71 games. Murray ranked second for the Americans in goals scored (23) and third in points.
The Bolton, Ont., native was drafted by the Sabres in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft with the 99th overall pick. He has appeared in 21 NHL games for the side.
