Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis confirmed that forwards Paul Byron and Jake Evans will return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Byron has been out since Feb. 23, when he left the Habs' 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres after getting checked into the boards by Mattias Samuelsson.
"I feel better, I'm ready to play and I'm excited to play," Byron said. "The team plays very well right now and it's a lot of fun to be able to play."
Evans had left left the Canadiens' 5-4 overtime win over the Calgary Flames last week with an upper-body injury.
Micheal Pezzetta and Mathieu Perrault will be healthy scratches for the final matchup of Montreal's four-game Western Conference road trip. The Canadiens are on a roll, gaining four out of six points in their last three games.
