Attendance was notable at Montreal Canadiens practice on Monday.
Star winger Ivan Demidov was absent due to a therapy day, while Alexandre Carrier, Oliver Kapanen and Kaiden Guhle were all on the ice.
Demidov has played both games for the Canadiens this season, recording two points, but missed a pair of pre-season practices after blocking a shot with his foot.
When asked if Demidov will be available Tuesday in the home opener against the Carolina Hurricanes, Canadiens coach Martin St. Louis said: "It's a therapy day today, we'll see."
Carrier left Saturday's overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second period after falling head-first into the boards after a hit from Egor Chinakhov.
Kapanen (lower body) and Guhle (adductor) have yet to play this season as they rehab their injuries.
The Canadiens return to action Tuesday in an Eastern Conference Final rematch against the Carolina Hurricanes.
