The Montreal Canadiens are making a small adjustment ahead of their must-win Game 7 against the Buffalo Sabres.
Oliver Kapanen, 22, took warmups for the Canadiens in place of Joe Veleno, who was shaken up after a big hit in Game 6. Kapanen will slot into centre on the third line.
The Timra, Sweden native played all 82 games for the Canadiens last season — his first full campaign in the NHL — scoring 22 goals and 37 points while averaging 14:28 per game.
He's played just four games through two rounds this post-season, though, and has gone pointless in that time.
Veleno, 26, has appeared in six games this post-season, recording one assist in that time. In 61 regular-season games, Veleno had two goals and five points.
