The Montreal Canadiens have recalled forwards Owen Beck and Florian Xhekaj, and defencemen Adam Engstrom and David Reinbacher from the AHL's Laval Rocket, the team announced Monday.
The four Habs youngsters rejoin Montreal right as the Canadiens have taken a 2-1 lead in their second-round series with the Buffalo Sabres.
Beck, Xhekaj, Engstrom and Reinbacher were playing post-season hockey with the Rocket, but fell to the Toronto Marlies in five games in the AHL's North Division semifinals.
The Canadiens play Game 4 Tuesday in Montreal (at 7:00 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+).
