Vancouver Canucks forward Justin Dowling has entered the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol, the team announced Thursday.

Dowling becomes the fourth player currently in protocol, joining Alex Chiasson (Dec. 26), Brock Boeser (Dec. 29) and Phil Di Giuseppe (Dec. 29). One member of the Canucks’ support staff is also in protocol.
Through 18 games played in the 2021-22 season, Dowling has two goals and one assist.
The Canucks are 7-0 under new head coach Bruce Boudreau and are looking to win their eighth consecutive game on Thursday night when they visit the Los Angeles Kings.
