The Washington Capitals and New Jersey Devils made a minor trade.
The Capitals sent defenceman Declan Chisholm to the Devils in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round pick, the teams announced Thursday.
Chisholm, 26, played 26 games for the Capitals last season, recording one goal and seven points.
He recorded career-highs in games played (66) and points (12) in 2024-25 with the Minnesota Wild.
The 2018 fifth-round pick has 125 NHL games under his belt, with six goals and 28 points.
