The New Jersey Devils are bringing on a former second-round pick.
Forward Lenni Hameenaho signed a three-year entry-level deal, the team announced on Thursday.
Hameenaho, 20, was the 58th overall pick in the 2023 draft.
He's spent the past six seasons playing in his native Finland. During the past season with Ässät, the right-handed shot recorded a career-high 20 goals, 31 assists and 51 points in 58 regular-season games.
Hameenaho also played for Finland at the 2023 and 2024 world juniors. He is currently part of the country's roster at the world championship.
