Ducks' McTavish leaves game vs. Flames with lower-body injury

Watch as Mason McTavish scores his first NHL goal and the tally would stand after a review by the officials.

Anaheim Ducks 2021 third-overall pick Mason McTavish left Monday's game against the Calgary Flames with a lower-body injury and will not return, according to the team.

McTavish, 18, had two points through two games entering the contest. He scored his first career goal in his first game against the Winnipeg Jets last week to become the youngest scorer in Ducks history.

Prior to being drafted, McTavish played for EHC Olten of the second-tier Swiss hockey league, where he produced 11 points in 13 games. In 2019-20, he recorded 42 points in 57 games as a 16-year-old with the OHL's Peterborough Petes.
