Joel Hanley's season is over.
The Calgary Flames defenceman has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an upper-body injury, the team confirmed Saturday.
Hanley suffered the injury during Thursday's game against the Anaheim Ducks.
The 34-year-old has appeared in 68 games this season and has registered seven assists.
The Keswick, Ont., has one more year left on his contract after agreeing to an extension last off-season.
