The Calgary Flames re-signed defenceman Yan Kuznetsov to a two-year, two-way contract Thursday.
Kuznetsov's deal carries an AAV of $812,500 and becomes a one-way contract in the second year.
Kuznetsov registered 21 points (six goals and 15 assists) in 72 games with the AHL's Calgary Wranglers this past season.
He was drafted in the second round, 50th overall, by Calgary in 2020.
The 23-year-old from Murmansk, Russia, has appeared in one game with the Flames, making his NHL debut on Jan. 9, 2024.
