After 471 games, Nathan Beaulieu is hanging up his skates.
The longtime defenceman announced his retirement from the NHL on Wednesday following 12 years in the league.
Beaulieu, 32, ends his career two points shy of 100 with 12 goals and 86 assists.
Originally selected 17th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2011 Draft, the Strathroy, Ont., native made his NHL debut with the team during the 2012-13 season and went on to play four more seasons with the club.
Beaulieu quickly became a staple on the blue line and enjoyed a career year in 2016-17, skating in 74 games while collecting four goals and 24 assists.
He then spent parts of two seasons with the Buffalo Sabres before joining the Winnipeg Jets for parts of four seasons. Beaulieu last skated during the 2022-23 season when he made 52 appearances with the Anaheim Ducks.
