The Carolina Hurricanes have some bling to commemorate their memorable season.
The Hurricanes celebrated their 2026 Stanley Cup championship on Sunday night with a private ring ceremony honouring players, coaches and team staff who helped bring the Cup to Carolina.
Carolina's championship ring, designed by luxury jeweller Jason of Beverly Hills, features nearly 900 individually set stones, including 9.80 carats of white diamonds and natural red rubies. Each ring also includes intricate details to commemorate the Hurricanes' championship season.
“Jason of Beverly Hills created a remarkable piece that captures the spirit of our organization and what this group accomplished together,” Hurricanes general manager Eric Tulsky said in a statement. “Every detail reflects the character of this team, from the way we played to the people who made this season unforgettable.”
One of the most prominent details is the phrase “STRESS GAME,” featured on the side of the ring as a nod to Carolina’s aggressive style of play built around pace, pressure, and constant attack.
There are 53 points of diamonds set into the “2026” that represent Carolina's 53 regular-season victories, while 66 natural red rubies around the perimeter represent the 66 goals the Hurricanes scored during their playoff run.
Carolina also included 69 red rubies in the central design on the interior of the ring to represent combined regular-season and post-season victories.
The North Carolina state flag is featured on the underside of the ring top, surrounded by 42 white diamonds representing the Hurricanes' 42 goals scored during the Eastern Conference Final and Stanley Cup Final.
The flag is also encircled by the numbers of the players, representing the team's “Storm Surge” celebration. Each player's signature is also engraved along the bottom of the ring.
Perhaps the most unique feature is a removable championship puck pendant inside the ring. The puck is engraved with the Stanley Cup and personalized with each player's number. Once removed, it reveals a hidden image of Stormy, the Hurricanes' mascot, rendered in rubies and diamonds.
The inside shank of the ring chronicles Carolina's 16-3 post-season record and includes the results of each playoff series, preserving the team's path to the Stanley Cup.
The ring ceremony gives the Hurricanes another chance to celebrate the franchise's 2026 Stanley Cup triumph, with each detail reminding everyone of the players, moments and traditions that defined their championship run.
