Jets' Blake Wheeler to miss upcoming road trip, out indefinitely

Sean Reynolds and Ken Wiebe react to the news that captain Blake Wheeler will be out indefinitely with what they're treating as a concussion for now, what fallout to expect on the top line and PP, and whether this changes their deadline plans.

Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice announced Wednesday that captain Blake Wheeler would not join the team on its upcoming road trip and will be out indefinitely.

The exact diagnosis of the injury is still undetermined, but the team is treating it as a concussion at this time.

Wheeler, 34, has 10 goals and 22 assists in 39 games this season.

In the 10 seasons since the Jets relocated to Winnipeg, the right winger has only missed six games.
