Kings' Drew Doughty to return to lineup against Ducks

Los Angeles Kings defenceman Drew Doughty skates down ice during the first period of an NHL hockey game against the Arizona Coyotes in Glendale, Ariz. Drew Doughty has never been one to shy away from expectations. So, as the defenceman enters his 14th season with Los Angeles, he thinks the Kings have enough talent to make the playoffs for the first time in four seasons (Ross D. Franklin/AP).

Los Angeles Kings captain Drew Doughty will return from injury Tuesday night to take on the Anaheim Ducks.

The 2015/16 Norris winner went out on Oct. 22 during a 3-2 loss against the Dallas Stars after a knee-on-knee collision with defenceman Jani Hakanpaa. It was annouced that he would miss eight weeks.

In four games this season, the 31-year-old has one goal and seven points for the Kings (9-8-3), who are sixth in the Pacific Division.
