Los Angeles Kings defenceman Vladislav Gavrikov suffered a lower-body injury against the New York Rangers and will miss the remainder of Sunday's game.
Gavrikov, 28, did not play in the second period after playing 6:36 in the first.
The blue-liner was injured during the Kings' game Saturday against the New York Islanders, but ended up returning after a trip to the locker room.
Entering Sunday's contest, Gavrikov has nine points (three goals and six assists) over 24 games this season. Over 300 career NHL games, he's recorded 91 points (21 goals and 70 assists).
